Here's a term you're going to hear much more often: plug-in vehicle, and the acronym PEV. It’s what you and many other people will drive to work in, ten years and more from now. If, driving home or for some other reason your batteries looked like running flat, a relatively small, but quiet and efficient engine running on petrol, diesel or compressed natural gas, even bio-fuel, would automatically cut in, driving a generator that supplied the batteries so you could complete your journey.Concerns over 'peak oil', increasing greenhouse gas emissions, and the likelihood that by the middle of this century there could be five times as many motor vehicles registered worldwide as there are now, mean that the world's almost total dependence on petroleum-based fuels for transport is, in every sense of the word, unsustainable.

四、PTE写作SWT例题的解析：

1、用黄色标出来的部分呢，是我觉得整体来说非常全的关键句的部分，当然待会儿我们讲完你会发现有些部分是有一些重叠的，如果我们字数不超的情况下，都要是可以的，如果字数超了的话，就选取更加有概括性的，或者是说二选一就好了。首先主旨应该很明显，P plug in vehicleer，从标题中大家也能感觉得到，当然考试的时候没有标题，所以有时候我们也可以通过这种信号词，或者是表达方式来感觉一下，一般来说开头肯定会出主旨。

2、You'are going you'are going to hear much of much, 引出来整篇文章的话题词，接下来是来阐述它了，It's what you you and many other people，Will drive on drive to work in, 可能在将来会驾驶它去上班的。Ten years and more and more from now，我们可能预设到的情境，当你每天上班之前，会把你的充电的车呀扯下来，它是有一个大的车载大电池，可以晚上把它充满，它是关键单词，就是描述这个bad batteries，这个电池后面其实也会提到，这个就是第一段的关键内容点，引出话题词。
